Really confused by really odd thing - Single Instrument/MIDI track not syncing

Hi all,

So I just upgraded to Sonar Producer X2 and I'm pretty happy with it.
Well a really odd thing is happening.

I've started a new track from a template I built myself (after having no trouble with some previous tracks using the same template) and while I'm playing around in it I'm finding that one of the instrument/midi tracks (ONLY one) is going out of sync.

I have Battery 4 loaded up with multiple outs and 7 instrument tracks connected to the core MIDI track.  Each track is 1/2, 3/4, 5/6 etc.  The kick was on 1/2 and while I'm listening to play back I'm realizing the kick is going out of sync.  Okay, that's odd, nothing else on Battery or any other instrument is, JUST the kick.  So I play around and change the output for the kick (which is 1/2) to one that isn't being used (15/16) and STILL it goes out of sync.

Okay, still odd.  So I switch the Snare and the Kick so the snare is now on the instrument track assigned to 15/16 and the kick is on the snares old instrument track (3/4) now the SNARE is out of sync.  So essentially only ONE instrument track is going out of sync, it's not the output that's affecting it.  Doubly I've disabled all sends and effects on the track and I'm still having no luck.

Does anyone have ANY idea what is going on here?

Thanks,
-Joe

I saw no replies, so I thought I'd read your post and see if there was anything that came to mind.

Regrettably, I apparently have no mind today, as I do not know what might cause that.

Hopefully, this bump will get someone who has had more coffee than me to look into it for you.  I will check back after running some errands, and if needed will try to do some research on your behalf into this.

Interesting, I've had the same issue with Battery 3 at times which leads me to believe this is a NI problem not SONAR. Did you try exporting the slice in Battery as a MIDI file? I've done that, broight it back into SONAR than quantized it to fix the timing issue.
