Really weird latency with DR-008

Lately (after a recent system reinstall) my DR-008 has been acting funny. At the begining of every 8 measures, all midi activity stops...and then starts on the second measure. The entire drum section stops and then all hits on (approximately) the first beat of measure 2. Always. I'm getting not latency when im editing it in the piano roll, and the few other synths are keeping time fine. Has anyone else had this problem?
