Real-time EQ?

I know in some audio editing software, you have the ability to loop a portion of audio and make EQ adjustments and hear them in real time as it is playing. Is this possible to do in SONAR?

Using SONAR Producer Edition v 8.3, in case you wondered.

Yes. There's a Sonitus EQ built into each audio/instrument track in the console view. Select the loop range in the track view, and enable looping. Then go to the console view, enable the EQ module in the track strip, and have at it. You can double-click the EQ graph to open the full-size Sonitus interface to make things easier.

Okay so I got the loop to work, was pretty simple.

So it doesn't sound like the EQ is actually doing anything. I keep doing extreme changes and I can't hear any difference.

Here's what I'm looking at:

See that little icon to the left of Band 2? That toggles the EQ on/off. It looks like yours is off. It turns green when EQ is enabled.

Using different EQs I think most people do this in the track view, not in console view. Just like any VST FX.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.
The benefit of being a middle aged amateur is the low number of years of frustration ahead of you.

I use the console view if I'm using SONAR's built in eq.
