  • Media: fix creating empty MIDI items when inserting media with a time selection set
  • Peaks: use 5.15+ floating point peak format for lossy compressed files

      Man they issue bugfixes and updates pretty quickly. . . great team and community over there.

      I considered using reaper for ny students but the zends and aux process seemed awkward for middle schoolers

      I looked at Reaper about two years ago and just had a hard time agreeing with it. I have to say they are making very impressive progress, and seems to actively improve. I'll have to take another look.
