Reason rewire X64, anyone got this working as it should ?

I have spent over a week trying to set up this, and i can not seem to get it working anymore, reason 5 x32 was okay,
But since the reason 6 has introduced the Mix Channel strips from record, all routing has gone out the window for me, okay in an ideal world i would like to route the midi from X1 into reason devices as i have done many times before in Reason 5 and 4, then send the audio signal back into sonar.
first Off I am having problems when going through reasons mix channel/s the delay is unreal with the controls response, and i am also having to bypass reasons master and go straight to the reason out rack, so i can not use resaons internal master effects sends beacause of this delay, i suppose their will be a way to use delay compensation in X1, But putting all these other scenario's to one side, If i just set up my reason devices the old way straight to the Resaon in/out rack, and then set up my in/outs in reason for each Midi send out from X1, to each Resaon device itself, then back to seperate audio Channels for each reason device coming back into sonar, despite setting up the corresponding in/outs Ie 1/2, 3/4 etc, I can only get one device working via 1/2 = L/R , and any second device etc, still sounds via the 1/2 = L/R yet i have not sent them all to L/R, its very weird, on top of this via the standard reason rack routing in/out to X1, all other ins/out Apart from L/R Distorts/clicks/pops the sound, i set up a reason device on L/R its fine, but then i send the reason cabals to 3/4 etc and it sounds awful and this is the old way bypassing the reason master and Mix channel, i have tried every way i can think possible,Their are other issues connected, it just all seem Broke.

So any advise appreciated, ?
or even better has anybody got a template for x1d expanded and reason 6 in x64, either standard : straight via the Reason rack or even better still using the reason master and sends and each mix channel per device?
So at least it gives me a starting point to figure out whats may be bugs to me and what may be due to my self and changes in this setup i am not familar with.

Cheers.

It is, Sonar's rewire implemention that is, and has been for ages.

I've got some 8.5 templates I could get to you via email. PM me.

Provided they don't crash X1 they should work for you, and you'll get an idea of how to route them yourself into stereo buses from there.

You'll still have problems recording midi while looping is enabled.  And you'll also have increasing large amounts of silence appended to each subsequent track as they get bounced.

They are all known issues dating back to when I first got Sonar since version 7, and just compiling the old 32 bit code into a 64 bit version hasn't improved the situation.

Why they don't just get a new version of the SDK from Propellerhead and spend the few hours putting together an implementation that is actually useful, makes sense and works totally defeats me.

It doesn't even need to be provided in an official update the funtionality is included in the dewire.dll that is included in the Cakewalk Shared folder tree.  They only ever need ship 32 bit and 64 bit versions of that particular file to get it to work.  As X1 owners that still have an earlier 64 bit version of Sonar will testify, the old version is now suddenly 64 bit Rewire capable post the D update.

If it was not for the Rubbish Midi/drum editing in reason i would have jumped ship along time back, even if i can just use X1 to send midi more so for my drum editing with the inline and do almost everything else in reason, but now i can not even send just the midi to seperate devices, all midi out to reason is now behaving lts kind off like midi Omni, its just all merged and confused and does not want to go to individual Device anymore.

Any Reason 6 x64 rewire template will do, just so i can experiment further with my isues, we must have somebody that has this rewire Sort of setup in some manor!!. lol.

Yes I do, I have plenty of Rewired CWT files.  I use R6 with Sonar all the time.

Okay,Sussed out how to send multiple midi tracks to reason 6 from X1D, All is working okay,
But still a big dissapointment in the fact that i can not get drum maps to send midi to Reason,It just dont want to connect, Not sure if this is possible at this time, although i should be able to from what i can figure out, But despite appearing to have made the connection to send midi to the correct channels, still nothing, again maybe something iam missing, But quite tired of trying now,
So just a quick question has anybody out their got/had drum maps sending to any reason drum device.

    Thanks
