Reasons why I'm reluctant to switch to X1

I downloaded the X1 demo a whule ago and sadly at that period I was in a big rush at work and I didn't have time to really get to play with it. Now, the demo has expired... There are a couple of 8.5 features that are important to me which I aven't been able to fing in X1: Piano Roll: Paint linear velocities dircetly in piano roll window PRV tools: didn't find it Event inspector: The toolbar widget that displays info about anything selected in the track view. This little widget lets you view view an alter important data instantly, transpose, change relative velocity, set to fixed veloity etc... can't find it in X1 Synth Rack's "assign controls": It's the feature that enables you to link virtual knobs to synth knobs and assign midi control to them with a simple midi learn feature. This was the best way to avoid dealing with ACT which to my sense is the most unintuitive an time wasting complicated and unifficient way of doing synth midi controle, and it doesn't even work unless you have a "ediro/Cakewalk" midi controler; get it? I HATE ACT, never been able to understand it, never been able to make it work properly.

Turn down the volume! You're disturbing the neighbourgs!

    It's all still there:

    1. You have to undock the synth rack to use Assign Controls.
    2. The Event Inspector is an optional Control Bar module.
    3. The Draw tool has a Line mode that will let you draw linear velocity changes.
