Interesting. More means more cash. I think they did themselves a lot of good keeping it cheaper. Be interesting to see how it sells with extra $30 price tag. At one point recabinet 3 was below $20. I'm tighter than two coats of paint.

    Mesh,

Recabinet sounds good. I got it for $29 at the last sale.
I'm sure R4 will sound better.  The BIG question is...
WHAT WILL THE AMP SIM sound like?

The upgrade price to R4 is $29 and, with the Amp Sim and ALL MODULES
released for the next 2 years is $79...so that seems reasonable.
It will seem more reasonable if the Amp SIM lives up to the hype...

After listening to audio clips..that state no pre or post processing, it sounds impressive.

Now...whether or not it ACTUALLY sounds like that remains to be seen

Thanks Larry.....I was just curious (not really needing much as I'm happy with Amplitude3) how it compared to the others.

Yeah, me too...   S-Gear is the only amp sim I'd probably purchase at this point.    If I had $99 to spend.

Thanks! All details of these recordings are described, and I will provide factory presets that were used in these clips with the plugin. There's no trickery happening here - if I didn't honestly believe that this is the best amp modeler ever made, I wouldn't have bothered releasing it. It's been a long and difficult road to get to this point, but it was the most worthwhile and rewarding development experience I've had so far.

PS - looks like there have been some changes around here. My avatar and signature aren't showing up correctly. Maybe I need a higher post count?

No, Avatars got kicked in the teeth...and have remained unfixed....
