So I installed updated driver from M-Audio for Windows 7 (64 bit). When I try ASIO it says the sample rate of my sound card is not supported and I have to sync it somehow. Is this normal? When I tried WDM driver mode it showed that I was playing but I couldn't hear anything.
You have to tell us whether you're recording a MIDI track or an audio track. If its a MIDI track, do you have it assigned to a softsynth? If its an audio track, check the windows and soundcard mixers to make sure you don't have it muted or turned down. Those are common mistakes.
