Recording MIDI from Roland RA-90 Arranger

For my live performances, I am using a Roland set-up: MIDI Guitar (GK2 pickup) via GR-1 synth to Roland RA-90 real-time arranger (the guitar drives all rhythms and arrangements with chord changes in real time). I would like to record my music to create a CD. I have purchased the Quad_Capture UA-55 and hooked it into my laptop. I was able to successfully record a guitar track and play it back. 
I then went on to trying to record from the RA-90. I connected the MIDI THRU of the RA-90 to the MIDI IN of the UA-55. I assume this is correct. I guess what's not happening is a logical MIDI connection between the QUAD-CAPTURE and SONAR LE. How do I go about this?
(The RA-90 arrangements are driven via Channels 11-16).
