Does your Midi data start EXACTLY on measure 01:01:000?

If so, consider moving it all out by one measure so that everything starts on 02:01:000

This is a habit I got into many years ago with sequencers - it gives the software an opportunity to read everything and "clear it's throat" before playing the sequence.
