Recuerdos de la Alhambra

I've been trying to get a recording of Recuerdos de la Alhambra on my Rosas for 2 weeks now but when I listened back there is a loud buzz off the high E string. I can't figure out where it's coming from. Not typical string buzz but a high pitched rattle buzz. It just enough to ruin the recording and I've tried playing softer etc. but nothing works. So, I've decided to move on to other projects. This really PO's me too! I don't have any tremolo tunes recorded. Ok I'll shut up now but man .....

Maybe the cause is a Buzz Lightyear baby rattle?

Ah I used to play that piece back in the day. Have you had a crack at Eduardo Sainz de la Maza's "Campanas del Alba" yet? That was always my favorite tremolo piece but I could never get the hang of it. I think it has a nicer melody than Recuerdos, although that's just my opinion....I have an excellent recording of it by Steve Kostelnik but of course it's not on YouTube.

Can you hear the buzz when you're playing the piece or is it just when you listen back?

Bill put the buzz in a bag and send it off the bank (of the river).

I can hear when I listen as I'm playing but my hearing is so bad. I cup my ears on playback. That's how I caught it. Then when I was playing I noticed it. Really sucks cause it sounds good but that frickking buzz!
My guitar professor wanted me to play Campas Del Alba for a jury but I chickened out. Recuerdos is pretty easy. I don't have enough time to get really good at that technique cuz of all the other things I work on.

Are you sure that YOU are the cause or do you have a slight neck/fret issue where a fret (probably on a lower string) is a little too close to the string and this is causing the buzz?
