Reel ADT Pitch Variance in Sonar - PROBABLY RESOLVED

For true doubling, I would expect minor pitch variation as well as time variation.  In mechanical ADT, the oscillator controlling the speed on one tape machine would introduce both pitch and time variance.
 
I have read my Reel ADT twice manual completely and see no mention of pitch variation.  The same goes for the various reviews I have read.
 
If there is no pitch variation, I am disappointed.  Does anyone know definitively?
 
Or course, I could record the signals, look in Melodyne, or use some other technique to try analyzing this, but it would be nice to have the answer if anyone knows.

    Hey, JonD.  I'm not thinking so much of wow and flutter as I am larger pitch variation—like you would get if you dragged your hand on the tape flange or used a varispeed to alter the playback speed.
     
    I actually read that review when it came out and again before posting, but let me look again.  Maybe I missed something.

    I emailed Waves Support and got a very polite and helpful response that said 1-Yes, the varispeed/LFO does cause pitch variation and 2-please send them an example of a section in which the manual is unclear.
     
    I will send them the example.
     
    I was impressed with the fast and helpful response from Waves/Reel ADT.
