Regarding threads that were removed
Hi Everyone,
I have removed several threads that were disruptive. I'd like to personally request that we ALL move on to something else. If you're being insulting and attacking others personally, please stop. This behavior is not welcome and if you continue you will be banned. If you think Cakewalk isn't banning you because Cakewalk agrees with you, you're wrong. We're busy and probably haven't even seen your posts.
If you're intentionally provoking and antagonizing others, please stop. This is not helping the situation and surely you're aware.
From the Forum TOS:
Flaming, Bashing, and Trolling
Hate posts and personal attacks will not be tolerated on the Cakewalk forum. Treat other forum members as you would like to be treated. Unproductive trash talk will be met with criticism and possible disciplinary action including banishment. The same rules apply to trolling and/or posting topics specifically to provoke a negative response.
Let's end it here. If we get more forum tickets complaining about this banter, myself or other Cakewalk staff will have to go through and read each post individually and pick out who's causing problems here and ban members accordingly...
... which
really stinks for all those customers waiting on responses, all those problem reports waiting to be processed, all those phone calls sitting on hold, and all those things you want fixed and/or implemented that we could be spending our time working on communicating internally about.
I didn't read the entirety of the threads that were removed because I have more pressing things to do and to be perfectly honest things I'd rather do, but 12 reports and a direct email to a member of our staff says enough. No offense to any of you folks, you are all great and entitled to your opinions and different approaches to communication, but who is right and wrong is really the least of concerns. I'm speaking personally, but we don't have a lot of moderators and I'm sure none of the other Cakewalk staff really want to have to get in the middle of everyone's arguments here either. To try to "research" the fine details of this argument would take a lot of time that we just don't have.
If you can't get along:
1) Consider blocking each other so you can remain in the community but not have to deal with those you butt heads with consistently
2) Consider ordering this book:
http://robertfulghum.com/index.php/fulghumweb/booksentry/all_i_really_need_to_know_i_learned_in_kindergarten/ Please let's take the bickering offline/somewhere else and get back to some more positive topics, such as music. Even if the topics aren't positive, let's keep them respectful to one another.
I recently was introduced to this band <

Thanks for everyone's understanding.
