Reload audio driver while in Sonar?

Sometimes I forget to turn on my firewire interface before running Sonar and I get an error. Is it possible to tell Sonar to look for the interface again without restarting it?

Win 10 (64 bit), i7-2600k 3.4GHz , 8 GB RAM, SATA III (500GB SSD - System, 2TB WD Black - Data), Sonar Platinum x64, m-audio Profire 610

With some interfaces, within Sonar it's possible to disengage the audio engine and re engage it, this will connect Sonar with the driver again.

This isn't the case with all FireWire devices

    Thanks

There is nothing within Sonar to disengage/engage that I can see when I start it without the interface on.

It is not a big deal as there is an easy workaround (I.E. turn the interface on first). I just don't always remember :-)

Yeah you just need to establish a power up routine that ensures your interface is powered up before the computer.

Mine is easy - I switch on at the wall and the interface comes up straight away, before I even get to the pc

Always when I forget to power up my interface, I turn it on at the start up warning. I would think it would be easy to have a re poll button on the dialog box that warns you your interface is off. Instead, I relaunch sonar. Three clicks instead of one maybe twice a month. Not a big deal but an easy improvement.

I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.
