Remaking of an old Final Fantasy VII game music track

Hi everyone,

This is a Re-imagining of a track originally from the Final Fantasy VII game soundtrack, titled "The Nightmare's Beginning". The original track was written by Nobuo Uematsu.. though I have changed it quite a bit in tempo, tone, key, timing, etc. and also added in a few of my own parts to fill it out a bit more.

This isn't one of the more well known tracks from the FF VII soundtrack as it wasn't used much in the game, but it managed to find it's way into my head from time to time over the years.

Very cool. I haven't heard the original, but this version sure sounds great! Nice job!

Man this is great Sean. Never played the game but I do know the music and it's respective composers are highly regarded. That low frequency synth tone is perfect. Would have liked to hear that lead around 2:40 come up a tid bit. I like the the change shortly thereafter. Nice job making all these tones gel so well. I really enjoyed this.

Thanks guys, I also posted this track to You Tube as it has better audio quality than the Sound Cloud link I posted.
