Rematrix surprise

I deleted an instance of Rematrix today in track view and still heard the reverb; I found that the same module was still in the channel strip when I looked at the console view.  Once deleted there, the reverb went away.  Odd behavior though.

I also discovered the other day that an instance of Rematrix was not responding to automation I had recorded for it; the written automation was supposed to simply move the wet/dry mix slider, but the changes although obviously written to the track weren't being consistently recognized.

I've subsequently deleted my Rematrix modules and gone back to reverb in the FX bin until I hear of a fix for this.

after all is said and done, I'm making some nice mixes with the software.

Have you reported this to Cakewalk? Do you have a CWBRN for it? If so go to the specific forum where we collate reports of known bugs so Vakewalk can work out how widespread a problem is if it is indeed a reproducible problem.

If not, waiting for a fix for it may be a long time. It's not a problem I'm experiencing. On the surface my are matrix responds to automation and if I delete it in the Track view it's also gone in the Console view.

You really need to provide a specific recipe that produces the problem so that others can try to replicate your problem. Only then could Cakewalk fix it.

    Hi Mike
Could you direct me to the "known bug" forum?  I would have been happy to put it there in the first place.  I ran a general search and didn't find such a bug.  I don't know what a CWBRN is; is it some kind of trouble ticket?

The Problem Reports forum is here http://forum.cakewalk.com/Problem-Reports-f77.aspx

Unless there are reproducible steps which can be confirmed by other users, this is the place for your thread. If you can provide a recipe for this issue, please post it here. This will allow others to confirm the problem. When confirmed and you have a CWBRN, the thread will be moved to Problem Reports. Please do not create another thread about this in Problem Reports.

CWBRN refers to a document created here http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Contact/Problem-Report. Use this form anytime to contact tech support.
