Remember a Day...
A time the elders refer to as the before time, a time long gone when good old Bill would remind us of a distant golden era when people could change their avatars...

You young whippersnappers think you have it so tough changing avatars willy-nilly. I remember when we didn't even have avatars and we had to walk 12 miles through the snow just to post a message.
Should auld acquaintance be forgot--hey, who the hell are you guys? X2(X3 pending hardware upgrade), Emulator X2, E-mu 1212M, Virtual String Machine

Once a young lad came up to the father of a large church and said his life's dream was to be the bell ringer for the church. The father smiled but then noticed that the lad didn't have any arms! "How do you intend to ring the bell without arms?" he inquired. "Watch!" said the boy as he jumped face first into the bell which rang loud and proud. "Well, since you have your heart set on the task and you're obviously willing to do anything, then you have the job!" For many years the boy rang the bell by jumping face first into it. Then, one day, as he was walking around the bell tower, he slipped and fell over the rail falling a long way down to his death. Some witnesses yelled to the father, who was now getting very old, and asked him "Do you know who this man is?" "No," began the father, "but his face rings a bell..."

I was going to check today to see if I could change my avatar... I still can't? I thought for sure someone would have fixed that by now... that is a pretty basic forum function, isn't it? Someone said it was because we weren't members of "user groups". What is that, is it the regional user groups or what. Maybe if we knew what it was we could join one and we could once again change our avatars. IDK... it should be fixed by now. You'd think a strong email by a mod to whoever does the forum software could get it fixed.
