Remixing from 32 to 64
If I take a project that was originally recorded in a 32 bit system (X1 Producer), and reload it into my 64 bit program to remix and export back down to wav: should there be any audible difference/ improvement. Or once something is recorded in 32, is it stuck/defaulted at that level of quality? thanks

There is no audio quality difference between 32bit and 64bit SONAR. The files created by both programs are the same. The principal difference between 32bit and 64bit SONAR is the amount of memory the program can access.

There are two incorrect assumptions in your questions. If you are referring to the OS bit depth that has no impact on audio quality. Also Sonar can read and write 32 and 64 bit wave files. No audio interface can play those bit depths back or record them. They are limited to 24 bits. If you started a project in a 32 bit version of Sonar and then load it in a 64 bit version it will be the same. No difference. There is more to it but these are the basics.

The only real difference when it comes to mixing is that the maths are a LOT more accurate in a 64 bit system, (where floating point is being used.)

Not true. They are the same. The 64 bit audio engine is independent of OS bit depth. Internal processing has nothing to do with what the program bit depth is or the OS.

Thank you Bristol. I knew you would want it clarified. I rely on this forum to correct me when I post an error. It happens and is not so much a problem when we know we all have each others backs.
