    i need it
In the meantime, create a New project in Project5 1.5, and assign your Send controls in MIDI Remote Control. Open that for to use as a 'template' project in V2, and the assignments work perfectly. From there, you can't reassign them, delete them, or do whatever you want, but they'll remain active as defined in 1.5.
    Per-project bug fix.

Sorry, guys: Best I could do. Email me at PSYNtologist ATT cs DOTT com, and I'll send you a .p5p file made in version 1.5. Be sure to specify exactly what MIDI messages that you want to control each of the four sends (and the numvber of expected tracks you're using this in). Then use that blank file as a template.
give me a step by step example of the simplest kind please
I missed this, NH. Start up Project5 1.5, and select File/New (or just use your opening template). Select your track, and go down to the Mix section under Syn:Ops. Enable your Sends with those little A1-A4 "LED's", and right-click on the corresponding knobs to bring up MIDI Remote Control.

From there, it's just like V2. Assign your messages to each of the four sends, and don't do anything else. In Save As, specify a folder in Cakewalk\Project5 Version 2 for easy access. Close out 1.5, and open up V2. Navigate to your saved 1.5 'template' file, and open that file in V2. The sends and assignments work. If you delete them or change the assigned messages, it will fail, and you have to start the process over again.

    ok here's something funny.

    I reinstalled p5v1 and updated to 1.5

Then i made a patch or device chain as it is called in p5v2 with p5's delay fx on aux1 and assigned midi remote control for the instrument (in this case DimPro)

Then saved it as a patch/device chain.

    Shut down p5v1.5

started p5v2 and opened the device chain i saved earlier.

    Hey it worked!

I can now assign midi remote to the aux send of the instrument.

And now for the funny part.......

I deinstalled p5v1.5 BUT left the shared files (the uninstaller will ask if u want to delete them) untouched.

Opened p5v2 again without loading the device chain. I just opened a new instance of Dimpro and tried the aux send

    remote control midi learn.

And this was still ok !!!!

    Hurraaay!!!!!

Dont ask me why, what, who etc. but it worked for me.

Still there are people without p5 v1.5.

edit: if someone needs this device chain and want to try it out i'll upload it to my ftp server in a few....

    edit2: Device chain

Let me know if it worked...
