Remove Plugins from registry

I bought some new waves (nls) plugins. I installed and now my old waves plugins ( l3) do not work.
So I uninstalled all of the waves plugins as waves suggested - but the old waves plugins (l3) still show up in sonar under the vst effects even after I uninstall.
I rescan and they are still there I try to load them and they are not working. The new waves plugins that I bought do not show up now that I have uninstalled.
The plugins were all pointing to the same waves file wavesshellx64 under cakewalk vst folder.

I get the following error when I try to exclude this waves plugin that should not be installed.

I used reg seeker and went into the registry.
I deleted everything that said waveshell
    in reference to waves plugins

I then went into sonar and the plugins were gone.

I then reinstalled waves plugins and everything is loading property.
