Remove Silence needs update PLEASE

One thing that really slows down my production time is the Remove Silence feature. It just never seems to work, so I end up having to do it manually, track by track. Really slow. I don't like making comparisons to Pro Tools, but they ARE the competition, and its Strip Silence feature does it SO much better. Try it out and see what I  mean. Our Remove Silence has REALLY gotten long in the tooth, and I feel it is in need of an update.
