Remove "(Bounced)" From Bounced Track Names

Hello,

Maybe my workflow is wrong and someone can correct me.  I am writing all synthpop music using mostly softsynths.

I first record all my synth tracks with midi.  Once the song is complete, I then bounce all the softsynths to audio tracks and then do my gain stage / mix process, but each track gets named with a "(bounced)" at the end of it and I end up with tracks named "Bass (bounced)".

I have to end up renaming each track removing the "(bounced)".   Is there someway to just keep the same track name I have the softsynth track named?

Thank You!

I kind of agree, though some may say it's important to have a record of how the track was made.   My workaround, fwiw, is to get in the habit of putting the important naming stuff at the beginning of the track name, before bouncing, so that the additions made by sonar go at the end where they can be ignored.    I also developed the trick of using a single capital letter early in the name to force alphabetical order on the names so the audio file order matches my track order.    Something like "0537A_vocal_SA_andthensonarbounced37blahblahblah" and "0537B_vocal_TB_andthensonarbounced933blahblahblah".
