Congratulations, Frank, you and Tim have opened my eyes to the new AT paradigm.  This is a terrific song, and the AT enhances your vocal and gives this tune a fresh sound.  The mix is fabulous, as are the performances.  This ought to be on the radio or in a movie.

    All the best,

Thanks Lynn... a lot of folks hate that effect... I thought it was fun, like a hand-me-down toy... old and worn out, but new to me...

    Hey, Frank,

Absolutely great song!  Well written and arranged, with terrific performances, great vocals and a pro sounding mix.

I love the guitar tones and tasty soling going on, the keys and horns sound great, and although I've never really been a fan of the AT effect, I think it adds a "modern pop" factor to a song when it's used tastefully like this.

    Good stuff, buddy!

WOW!!!!   Frank... this is excellent my friend!  This is reverb and delays done right!  (Of course the song is pretty good too...  LOL)  Just kiddin'... the song is fantastic!  I really like this flavor, and you nailed it.  I might like to hear just a tad more low end in this tune, just enough to bump my sub, but I'm really diggin' the whole thing.

And Mr. Oister summed it up pretty well too I think.

    More please.....

    Cheers!

I think "Bit's and Piece" was Dave Clark 5's tune no?

I don't hear any difference to the mix Frank. Sounds good as always.
Also sounds more like autotune than melodyne.

I think you told me you use MD as a plug. I find that very limiting. The real fun (for me) is using it in rewire.

Anyway, nice job and thanks for all the kudos and stuff, (even though you didn't get the song title right:)

Oh my... you're right, sorry Tim... Brain fart...
    Fixed...

Yes, I remember we talked about using MD in Rewire, but I'm not familier with rewire... I don't think we've been properly introduced...

Bob... thank buddy... I really appreciate your feedback...

Thanks Tony... I filtered out some of the low end on my last mix... maybe too much?

James, it's always great to hear from you... Thanks...

Daryl, of course you're right... I got carried away... I may go back & and re-sing some of this... thanks for the good ears...

I have to laugh because this is an effect that I go out of my way to AVOID using - yet this is the right place to use it, and you've done it amazingly well!  The AT thing aside, there's SUCH AN AWESOME performance and polish here, it really sounds commercial quality.   LOVE the guitar solos!   whew!  Smokin' !!!   Top-notch and extremely well performed all around!

Awright... That's exactly what I needed to hear... I was hoping someone else would express how I secretly felt about the the Vox... I'm proud it was you James... Actually, I had already decided to re-sing it... I may still use the effect sparingly in a few places... maybe... Thanks James for your frankness...

What about the low end? Did I filter out too much on this mix?

Hey Frank I like the vocal effect, it's different and not expected for this sort of tune.  The song has an 80's southern california feel about it.  It all sounds good from this end too.

    Peace Ben
