Removing reference to Dim pro 32 from X1

It looks as if Dim pro 32 bit is loaded and recognised by X1, although I am in 64 bit. It loads but does not work very well: controls not working, causing distortion. Dim pro 64 bit is listed down the way, but it would be mice to just not show 32 bit to take away yet another complication :). I tried renaming the x86 version of the Dim Pro dll, but it's still listed. How do I remove that listing, please? Thanks for any help

    Quick & dirty solution:

Goto Utilities > Cakewalk Plugin Manager.

Identify & highlight the 32 bit version and hit "Exclude Plugin"

Best solution is to remove it from your program list (make sure you uninstall the right one!)

This should be under Programs > Cakewalk > Dimension Pro. There's an uninstaller there

Then you'll need to go into the registry and delete the necessary keys.

Interesting. While your idea of uninstalling may seem more thorough, I _think_ it may cause a real problem if anyone has got to 1.5 state by simply downloading the upgrades and not the full Dim Pro 1.5 install. Removing the older version thoroughly also deletes all the Dim Pro "programmes": voices.
