Replace soft synth?

I recently upgraded my PC hardware, and had to re-install Windows 10. I reinstalled Sonar and all my plug-ins. I went to open my latest session, and a bunch of my Akai VIP soft synth didn't load the correct patch. I didn't make notes as to which soft synth was used or which patch (my bad) so now I have to replace them with something that's probably not the same patch I originally used.

Did Cake remove the "replace a soft synth" function? I remember it from X3 or something but it's not in the current help index and dragging a new synth onto an instrument track just drops it into the FX bin.

Any clues here?

Thanks

"Replace Synth" is found in the track context menus and the Synth Rack Menu.

Thanks scook, yeah just found it. I've used drag onto the track before, but I guess that's not the way anymore.
