Report on my RME UCX and UA610 Solo
After putting up a few GIK bass traps in the front corners, I finally got a chance to run the RME and UA through it's paces. The RME (compared to my old Delta 66) was awesome....alot of detail and clarity.....ran some acoustic guitars and a bass through the UA...very smooth but present as well....I also ran an additional bass part (since I didn't have a baritone handy....think "Wichita Lineman") ran it through Amplitube for a Fender tremelo effect....really liked it.
I'm going to pair up my U87 on the UA tomorrow for some vocal tracks. I also just received an AKG214 and I love it on acoustic guitar....plan on running a vocal through that too
