Vocals: Ken, Guitars: James, Drums: Ron, Bass: Ed
Chants by The Coffee House Collaborators Choir: Ken, Ron, Phil, Daryl, Bapu & Beepster

Verse 1:
Our Melting pot is boiling
Humanity is recoiling

PreChorus:
Resistance is not futile
Ignorance is brutal

Chorus:
A call to arms may be in order
They’re trying to build a bigger border
Some say our freedom has been harbored
Others says safety should never be bartered

Post Chorus:
Resistance is not futile
Ignorance is brutal

Verse 2:
In this crazy world up is down
There’s marching everywhere, in every town

Repeat PreChorus, Chorus, Post Chorus - Guitar Solo

Verse 3(spoken):
Neither side can be told
This 50 year debate is getting old

Verse 4:
This melting pot needs healing
Attitudes need repealing
Etc. etc. etc.

Interesting subject matter, which I have my own thoughts on, not to be discussed here of course... That's assuming I have understood the lyrics correctly...

Sounded good to me, anyway

Should the word "be" be used in the chorus?

Can't comment on the mix cos I'm not that good at that sort of thing, as I have said many times before.

Cool toon (only got the snippet I grunted over)... but what's goin' on with the hats/ride/cymbal sound? Sounds odd to my earballs. Maybe that was intentional.

Thanks fer the invite.

Andy,

The lyric was inspired/spawned from the "debate" thread in The Coffee House (now locked). And so you most likely understood the lyrics correctly.

Thanks for the listen.

The music is pretty cool - but really - the lyrics kind of suck. If I wanted politics in my music I'd pay attention to Fox or CNN - which I don't.

Well, what to say?  The music was rockin but it seemed a bit too high freq.  Could just be me.  I am not sure what to think about the lyrics.  I would have written one called Build The Wall.  LOL  Good work, guys.
