Resolved - Using Sonar with Reason on separate tracks

Hi everybody.  I've a problem that I haven't been able to figure out and maybe someone can point me in the right direction.  I am able to rewire reason to Sonar.  I've followed the tutorial from a couple of years back for Sonar 6, and I've never been able to get it to show the instruments on separate channels.   No matter what it only responds to one channel and I can't access the other sounds in  the rack.  I tried giving reason a separate audio tracks (where you get 64 tracks) and after removing the ones that I didn't need, I still couldn't get it to come with separate channels or separate tracks.

So my question is, how can I ensure that I can get each instrument on a separate.  I've searched for tutorials, but nobody is addressing the issue.  All they show is how to rewire reason to Sonar, which I can do, I just don't get the insturments on separate channels.

I should also add I've created a setup in reason that when the program first opens up, it opens with various instruments in it.  I've also assigned midi channels on the top for each instrument, so Reason opens up from with rewire with multiple instruments and assigned to separate midi channels.  Sonar doesn't see this.

Any info appreciated, thanks.

Also, just clarify, I've been doing this tutorial.

The Complete Guide to Using Rewire — Part 4

If you look down at the middle of the page, it shows the different reason instruments.  this is the problem I'm having, I never see the instruments in Sonar when I rewire Reason to Sonar.  the only thing I can access is whatever is in the first instrument.  But there is no list of instruments.

And here's a tutorial by some guy named Craig Anderton (I don't know if you ever heard of him... ahem) .  Anyway, I'm doing everything he says in the tutorial, I get Reason to come into Sonar, but I never see the individual instruments.

So, I found out why it wasn't working.  It was because "Share Drivers with other programs" was selected.  I found the answer in yet another Craig Anderton tutorial which you can find here:

    Using Reason with Sonar

I'm gonna say this, because not enough people say it and I think the man deserves merit.  I've been educated in various ways for the last 30 years by Craig Anderton in one way or another.   I'm sure that I'm not alone in being illuminated in some aspect of electronic music, whether it was the synths of yesteryear to what's going on today.

Can you imagine if Craig Anderton didn't exist?  I think that electronic music would be 50% less understood.   And there would be a lot more people that just don't get it, whatever *it* may be.  Craig Anderton helps us "get it".  I don't think he gets enough credit all around.  So I for one am saying thank you Craig Anderton, for making us all more knowledgeable and illuminating us about this world of electronic music.  :)
