Restore same view position when playback is stopped after scrolling to next view

The current behavior has probably been present since version 1.0, so it's unlikely to change in the future, but let me request it anyway (you need to enable "On Stop, Rewind to Now Marker" to see this behavior).

In the screenshot below, you can see the entire waveforms that I want to audition and check. Notice the Now time marker is positioned close to the left edge of the Clips pane.
 

 

If I start playback and stop it after the Now time marker went beyond the right edge of the pane and the screen scrolled to the next view, it changes the view position like this:
 

 

I'm not seeing this in another daw I own.
