Rewire - midi or audio?

Okay - this may be obvious to some, but ...

It seems I have two ways of using rewire (beween Reason 2.5 and Sonar PE3). I can either select all the audio tracks when I choose Reason as my rewire device in Sonar, or I can indivdually create Midi tracks for each of the mixer outputs. Any idea what the difference is and is there any advantage/disadvantage between the two?

Personally, I would store all data (including MIDI data) within Sonar.
And just store your "rack setup" for Reason in the Reason file. (either way you will still need to save some kind of Reason file)

If you store the MIDI data in Sonar, you can also use other instruments (DXi and VST) instead of being restricted only to Reason.

Either way, this is really a matter of personal choice.
Let me know if you have any questions. I am also using Reason2.5 but with Sonar4PE

I think its not just time, My cpu usage goes high if I crate a sperate Audio track for each and every MIDI track with Reason 2.5
