Rewire question please

Hello all, I have a rewire question for those who might know.
I've recently switched from xp to windows 7 pro and brought all of my old programs along. I have dreaded this moment for years, and here it is now.
I'm using old stuff because it all still works:
Sonar HS 6
Reason 3.0
I also use Melodyn and Gearbox but they are not the current problem. Almost everything is back online,so to speak, but I am unable to use Rewire. It is "greyed out" on both programs. I read a couple of posts on the forum pertaining to this problem but found nothing specifically about these two programs.
 
It seems that there is a 32 bit versus 64 bit situation here. If I am correct about this, would someone who has experienced this problem please assist by letting me know what they did for this.
 
Hoping I don't have to necessarily upgrade products in order to continue. Would installing both programs as 32 bit take care of this? If so, could someone who has done this let me know if its just a matter of that or is there more. I appreciate your time in reading this, if you are able please advise.
