Right Clicking in Track view drop down menu SLOW SLOW SLOW

Any one else notice if you are doing piano roll for a bit or something else then go to right click on track view to add midi track or plugin in fx bin or anything the right click function allows , it seems like it takes up to 5 sec for the right click drop down to appear ?? Never used to be like this always was quick .

i will add though after the 5 sec wait ,the right click works instantly if i do it on any other track immediately after but if i go away to do more piano roll for 5 min then come back and right click its not right ,too sloooooooooooooooow ,

any ideas maybe a win 10  setting or preferences ??

Hi. I just tested on my laptop, and could not reproduce. It opened as quick as usual. Way under a second.
This is a laptop with dual core Intel Celeron 2.16Ghz, (8 Gb RAM), internal soundcard, and 5400 rpm HD.
Have not checked my studio pc.
    All the best.

Any ideas on what could cause this ? It seems like the mouse pointer it is reattaching to the track view window but only with right click , all the tools and playback buttons never experience this , why only right click drop down ? Mind boggling

May I suggest a reboot of your PC, reboot of sonar.
Something could be corrupt and being held in RAM.

Restart the computer to erase the RAM memory. RAM is a volatile memory means as soon as one turns off the system the RAM gets free from the applications currently running on the system and again turning on the system resets the RAM again.

*Also make sure your windows updates have all recently been run (are up to date).

It could also be another application you are running along with sonar.

If you still have the problem-
    Do a few tests:

    Try a new project
    Try this over audio
    Try this over midi
