Right clicking on Z3TA's effects button!
I recently noticed that if I right click on Z3TA's effects button in the master section, the L.E.D. of the effects button starts to flash. Does anyone know why this is and whats actually happening while the button is flashing? I have read the Z3TA section of simon cann's cakewalk sythesizers book (which is fantastic) along with the PDF updates but I couldn't find the answer. Thanks in advance. Oddmeister.

From page 15 of the manual: "When you right-click this button, all effects (with the exception of the polyphonic Drive and the master Limiter) are bypassed, allowing you to hear the current program in “dry†status. A blinking red LED indicates this status."

Thanks for the answer, I purchased Z3TA before it was bundled with sonar 7, so I have a hard copy of the manual. I checked the help file by pressing F1 and couldn't find the answer there, the manual was the only place I didnt look, I forgot it was tucked away on my shelf. DOH! Anyway thanks again. Oddmeister.

Yup...I did too. There should be a searchable PDF copy of the manual (i.e. exactly the same thing as the hard copy) somewhere in your install folder or CD. That's where I found it. I like being able to search the version that they printed, which is why I use the PDF copy.

Load it in the FX Bin, and select Options -> Audio Input Thru. Or use the z3ta+_fx /z3ta+_fx2 VST plugin instead.
