Right clicking to access menu in clips pane making TV jump to parent track/loses selection

This is annoying me and I'm wondering if it can be repro'd. I should mention I'm still on X3c (will be patching in the next day or so) so maybe it's been fixed.
 
Recipe:
 
Create a track with enough takes in it (with clips) that when you open the take lanes and view/select the bottom take(s) that the parent track is above what is viewable (scrolled offscreen upwards).
 
Clone that track (may not be necessary but the work I'm doing involves the dual output of my guitar head).
 
Now with take lanes open on both tracks select the bottom most CLIP on the first track (do not select the the take itself in the track panel thing... click the actual clip).
 
Then on the second track scroll down and Ctrl + click (multi select) the bottom most take (the clone of the first clip you selected) making sure the parent track is offscreen (above what you can see).
 
Right click on the clip or within the empty space on the Take Lane (or anywhere in the Clips Pane really) to access the right click menu options (I am making Clip Groups) .
 
What is happening to me when I do this:
 
It is intermittent but often times the Track View will jump up to the parent track hiding the bottom clip I selected, unselecting it and then selecting a totally different clip/lane. It is extremely annoying. I think what is happening is that Sonar is registering the right click as another selection then trying to show me the selected clip in the parent track but ignoring WHERE I actually clicked and instead selecting/showing the clip in the lane the cursor is AFTER the screen jumps.
 
Anyway... I have found somewhat of a workaround but I don't think it will work for all purposes. The workaround is the use the little blue select  button on the actually Take Lanes panel (to the left of the Clips Pane). The clip in the take still gets selected and you still have to perform the right click in the Clips Pane to access the menu but it does not make the screen jump or change the selection. It is weird.
