Right-click FX browser = Properties dialog?

Right-click FX browser = Properties dialog?

I've only been using SPlat for a few days (yes, I finally let go of 8.5; new computer, new horizons) so ATM it's not always obvious whether a roadblock is user error or a bug.
 
When I right-click on an Instrument in the plugin browser, I get a Properties dialog. Same for MIDI FX. But I do not get one when I right-click on an audio effect. The Help documentation says I should, even shows a screenshot as proof. But a right-click does nothing for me in the audio FX browser. What's up?


All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

    Depends on the Sort option. Sort by Category displays the "Set Properties" dialog. The layout and sort options are set in the menu on the Plugins tab.
