Ripple Edit?

Hi there,
My song is done, and damn if I don't want to shorten the first verse from 16 to 8 bars. What's the easiest way to just vacuum out those 8 bars so everything to the right slides over? This includes about 26 tracks of audio, midi, envelopes, etc. In video I think they call this a 'ripple edit'. Any hints? Thanks,
