Ripple edit automatically off

It would be very handy if, when you have finished your ripple editing, the  checked ripple editing would be put automatically off. Because no doubt that everybody would forget that ripple edit is still on and in this case some issue can occur for sure.

What if you wanted to work with more than one Section?

Especially if you've broken a longer track into multiple clips, it would soon become a real pain to have to switch it back on again yes?

Therefore it would be great to have an icon, symbol, or special mousepointer in the trackview to see that "ripple edit" is on. Or a module in the control bar.

I've done multiple edits with ripple editing and if I had to turn that thing on every time I made an edit I would be losing my mind.

So that would be a big "No thank you" here. Leave it the way it is.

I don't think SONAR can know when you're finished editing.

I don't know if even a visual cue would be enough for this Mor-Ron. I may need a periodic speech reminder at -20db or so below fs that says : "Ripple editing is on" once every 30 seconds. :-)

A better more - practical no-duh indicator, might be a nice big R super imposed below your cursor as you edit.
