Road to Forever

is Don Felders new release.
I just purchased the album from Amazon ( listening to it now) and it had
what they call "Auto rip".

I knew that when I got an e-mail that I could download it in MP3.
Amazon has a Cloud player...all this is new to me because I have no use for MP3's but
I decided to go with the flow.

So I downloaded and it saved the MP3 album in Windows Media Player. ( 264 kbps)

THEN the Cloud Player at Amazon loaded something like 82 Cd's that I had purchased and
they're now there to download on different devices....that I don't use but family members do-
they just don't care for my music. lol

Well I have to admit something....it doesn't sound bad at all. I think if I had a mobile device it
would sound much better than anything I heard when I was younger.
Old dog learning new tricks.....and Don has a very good CD.

? I guess him releasing a new CD and some info I learned about MP3 downloading is just a joke.
This place is getting to be very strange to me.

    That's cool.

I've always avoided the Amazon mp3 player software... is it possible they have a list of all the records I bought from them?

That would be pretty cool to think I have access to the same content without having to do anything extra.

    best regards,
    mike

That's what I thought too Mike.

Very probable they do have your purchase history. They did mine. Everything I've purchased is
just a download away. Over 1,000 tunes.

The reason I thought it was cool is that my family could download
as they liked without me. I don't have a device to play MP3's and everything
is loaded in my PC already.

    There's always a catch....I don't know what it is...wasn't that interested....but
I imagine a limit and then costly options to continue.
I did read that every CD purchase I make with that "auto rip" tag, will be free MP3 download too.

    I've auto ripped jeans before.

It did solve the compression problem, but it didn't turn out quite as well as you might think.

Man, that is a bummer. I have heard though that jeanitic issues can
be very difficult and downloads can be just a complete waste. I do believe
there are currently several fine examples in numerous forums.
