Rest in peace Robin. I didn't like the music before disco but the bee gees were on the radio somewhere for most of my life

An incredible talent! I personally liked the Bee Gees music - in all it's transitions. Some great songwriting, production and incredible vocals. Disco was such a small timeline in their musical carreers it's such a shame that most remember them for just those 2 - 3 albums. Even then, those albums were very well done and some of the best music within the genre.

I encourage everyone to listen to some pre-disco Bee Gees, and then find some 1980's songwriting credits to see what they contributed. They were still on top of the charts regularly in the 80's - as songwriters for dozens of major acts.

R.I.P Robin! Your music and vocals have touched my life! God Speed to Barry, last man standing!

Don't fix it in the mix ... Fix it in the take!

At least his suffering is finally over.

My girlfriend was making jokes about me buying 2 Bee Gee's albums (total of 60 something songs) for my iPod a few months back.

I catch her dancing around the house cleaning while listening to them all the time now.

LOADS of talent in those fellas.
I's sad they're gone but the music lives on.

Back in my drinking and partying days I used to go to two hot spots in town where disco music was big and drinks were fifty cents each , used to party and dance all night to the Bee Gees and other types of disco music .
I got into it because thats where I the hot girls hung out so if you wanted to pick up a hot chick you better have those disco shoes on !

    RIP peace ! Radio
