Robot Sonata Fixed....DUH

Ok,

So somehow I hit the "Interleave" button so my initial post of this was
in MONO....DUH...

Here is the STEREO version...LOL

This is interesting. It's not a sonata but it does keep the interest.

    I like it.

Oh! Your version of Time is playing. In case you want to know, when that noise comes in at 0:14, it's the g string of a Fender Precision bass connecting to the magnet of the pick ups that makes that sound in the original.

    Nice stuff!

Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.

    Thanx Guitarpima...

It's still a work in progress...looking for "insight" LOL

Some of those songs on my sight were recorded years ago...they need to be redone..

Time and Comfortably Numb were my first "dive" into Sonar X1....

I listened to this before and found it quite interesting.  I still do, and I think it's aptly named.  It has a certain robotic quality that would make for a cool background in the next movie that features a robot.  As for that interleave button, I wished CW would make that a little more obvious because I've made that mistake, too.

    All the best,
    Lynn

    Thanks Lynn,

One of my posts on my sight said that is should be included in a Robot video...all the comments have
    been quite good...

I realize that, for this forum, it's WAY out of place, especially after listening to the posts on here..

    This isn't a forum for "techno" pieces...OL

This was my first "DIP" into the Rapture pool...it was quite frustrating..

The patch I used was called "Lo-Fi Drame" and, when I played it...it was great...
but the minute the transport started moving the "Main Note Attack" was GONE!!

I tried everything to get it to play right..apparently Raptures Step Generator is tied
to the Project tempo, with no way, that I know of, to bypass it...it was very frustrating.

So, as a "workaround" I recorded one instance with the patch "as is"
and one instance of the patch with the "sync" turned off of everything
It lost a lot of the "flavor" but at least I got "close"

that was the "drive" behind this ...I wanted it to sound "mechanical"

Yeah....I;ve done it before also, but usually catch it before mixdown...

    My bad...

    I think it's a lot better in Stereo...LOL
