Roland A-800 PRO (Cakewalk) Major issue? Please help!

Roland A-800 PRO (Cakewalk) Major issue? Please help!

PC Intel I7, 32GB RAM , NVIDIA- Windows 10 Pro x64 etc..

Hi
Having major issue with my Cakewalk- Roland A-800 PRO?
Have and use the latest Windows 10 drivers that get installed automatically in Windows 10. Have tried the 8.1 drivers as well with no luck.

I get the known bug system firmware hang  "System Program Ver.1.15" in A-800 PRO during power up. After countless of updates and power up and down it sometimes randomly wake up and work? I have open the A-800 PRO up removing the screws looking for firmware battery but I seem not to find any battery inside Roland A-800 PRO? Are there any battery in the hardware?

I done countless times hardware - firmware update "System Program Ver.1.15" but seem not be able to solve the issue?
I'm unable to do the last step "no 17" Factory Reset too always?

I'm unable to to do a Factory Rest at all? (ACT + < + Power on)

Any more suggestions how to solve my Roland A-800 PRO? Is just out of order broken? Im looking now into to buy a new Masterkeyboard.
Any suggestions on that would be helpful too. I like it to be USB "Plug and Play" with Windows 10 x64.

Thanks in advance
Best Regards
Freddie

Have you tried contacting Roland, Cakewalk and Roland separated their partnership over two years ago.  Cakewalk have never made hardware, Roland just used it for branding Roland hardware when they owned Cakewalk.

Someone here might be able to help but I would suggest contacting your local Roland support centre.

Sorry I can not be more helpful.

    Hi!

Thank you for your reply. I'm now looking into buying a new Masterkeyboard this week.
I think this Roland A-800 PRO is more or less done. Anyway, thanks for the suggestions.

You have to make a clean installation. Everyhting of the old sofware have to be removed.
When it's clean you can make a connection by USB with your Roland A 800 Pro by usb.The installation with windows 10 goes autonatic. No problems. Windows detect the Roiland A-800PRO and the installation will be done. automtaic!!,

    So it goes.

I have a Roland A800 PRO and it works great!!!!

I have no problems getting Windows 10 install the driver automatic. That isn't my issue.
The issue is that the hardware can't remember the firmware.

Anyway, I have run it standalone too with help of a 9V adapter without any USB or computer attached. Still the hardware firmware onboard crash so this device is broken, out of order.

Anyway, thank you all for your suggestions but I will buy a new product instead.

    Best Regards
