Roland A800 PRO

I just ordered a Roland A800 Pro.  I am using Sonar Platinum with Windows 10.  I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this combo?  Theoretically, it should be a plug and play hook-up, but being a cynic, I am doubtful.  If it is a problem integration, has anyone solved the issues?  I am a guitar player and this is my first dance with a keyboard controller.  Any help or suggestions would be more than appreciated.

If I recall correctly - when I installed the driver of the A800 Pro in Windows 10 after doing a clean install of Windows 10 I had to run the driver install in compatibility mode.  (Before that I had just upgraded my Windows 7 computer to Win 10 and there was no problem with the driver.)

I have one. Sets up fairly easy for midi controlling. As a control surface, I had to fiddle around to get it working with ACT, as the user manual in pretty crappy. But plenty of resources here in the forum and on the web. Very good all around keyboard/controller, you'll be happy with it.

Just follow the directions on the driver download.  It is automatic when you plug the A 800 into a USB 2 port.

Win 10 Pro x64, 32Gb DDR3 ram, Sonar Platinum, Cubase 9.5, Mackie MCU Pro, Cakewalk VS 100, Roland Octa-Capture,  A 800 Pro, Carver M-1.5t amp & C4000 pre amp, various mics, drums and brass instruments.
