Roland A-90

going to a rehearsal studio and they have this keyboard. Anybody familiar with it? I think I used one years back. I bascially need piano/rhodes/clav/wurlie/organ. Thanks

    the A-30/33/37 A-70 and A-90 are all controllers.

    There is the A-90 (Rolan'ds Legacy Page)

    I'm pretty sure it ONLY has sounds if you have the VE-RD1 expansion board in it. If you have a small sound module that you like I would bring it along and use it with this controller :)

    Yes that's true or if you have an A-90EX

    Anybody familiar with it?

    It was the king of the controllers back in @ 1998 - Fatar's best keybed, lots of sliders and zones (for the time) and it weighed a ton.
    The EX ( or the VE-RD1) had some good GM style samples - pianos, ep's, strings.

    They sold for about 2k new and are still getting 500-700 U.S. used.
