Roland: I'd pay you for this enhancement

How about enhanced I/O?

Features would includle

Stereo and MONO friendly naming of both Inputs and Outputs.
User I/O saveable presets for I/O friendly names
Stronger more bullet proof Hardware I/O for out and back usage of hardware effects.
Choice of Mono and Stereo drop down menus for Track inputs.
More (in number) visible sends on the Console view so that individual headphone mixes can be tweaked in the Mixer channels.

Console View enhancement

Choices between knobs or sliders
More streamlined sends - fewer knobs - just levels showing - click the widget to expand and change pan and I/O
User Mixer Builder - you have a toolbox that allows custom interfaces to be built.  (not that I want to do this, but I sure will take advantage of work done by those who do have a gift for this sort of thing.

    Seems reasonable (and doable).

    Aw heck,

I'd be awfully happy to pay for any of that stuff.

Those are great ideas and all speak directly to functionality and work flow rather than how much *stuff* do I get for money.

Earlier this year I pointed out the irony of "friendly name" inputs and outputs and someone official said... "oh yeah... well we've already have friendly names for years now" and I said something like "you have got to be kidding me".

And I realized the names might be as friendly as they are gonna get.

Yeah, I'd pay for friendly names!
