I have the same one and the sound quality is really good. Works well with my AT2035

    Do you master/mix with headphones?

Another 24DSP user here. Loving it, I use the VRM as a reference only, I still mix through monitor speakers, BUT it is great for listening to virtual sources to really help you acchive a balanced  mix through typical playback systems

only two Lo -Z inputs though, but hi-z inputs plus SPIDIF and ADAT up the count if you have another device that outputs ADAT you would up the input count.

I played with the 24s built in fx a bit but still lean to my plug ins.

I tried running the Pro 24 DSP dual with my Saffire 56 becaus eI like the liquid pres in it, but am having dropout problems , which I havent tied yet to my FW card or a bad port on my 56, (one of the FW ports on the 56 is blown)

Like musicman I use the VRM for referencing my mixes.  Works great.

I bought a firewire device from Maplins it worked where as the TI firewire which is in my computer doesn't (weird)

But loving the unit it was a toss up between a allen & heath mixer and the 24 dsp!

Made the right decision for my situation.
