Roland TD-4K2 to Sonar 8.5 for midi drum recording

Not sure where to post this question. I'm new to the midi game and am trying to get my Roland e drums to record onto Sonar 8.5. I hooked up the drums via interface and i get signal from all pads but only half the pads actually make a sound on the Session Drummer synth. The Roland has dual zone cymbals as does the snare but i only get sound out of the "bow" area on the cymbals and the "rim" on the snare and also the floor tom doesnt sound at all. I get sound out of the kick and rack toms. Not sure if the problem is in the brain of the Roland or channels are not together. Any advice wil be greatly appreciated as my projects are starting to back up!!

The MIDI notes Session Drummer uses are listed in the help file, near the bottom of the "Using the Drum Kit" topic. Right-clicking an instrument in the Drumkit or Mixer view will also show which notes trigger it.
