Roland UA-1010 Octa-Capture

Just replaced my EMU 1616m with a Roland Octa-Capture.  After the initial dry run, I am impressed with the piece.  Very smooth and clean sounding.

I've decided to abandon my JoeMeek pre and try the mic pre on the Roland itself.  Will let you know...

After fumbling about a bit in the interface, anyone with basic signal flow knowledge can figure out the logistics of the unit fairly easily.

Quality build and feel.  Came with rack ears, should you desire to mount it.

Coming from the Patch system of EMU, Roland was a breeze.

Sonar X1 plays well with it and recognized everything immediately.  Drivers seem solid too.

The Roland manual is a little light on pertinent info, but with a little digging, info can be found.

I will have time to really dig in this w/e, being July 4th.

For now I say, well done Roland.
