Roland with a surprize!

Has anyone caught this yet?

I just found this new Roland Software that claims to do the (near) impossible... Manipulating "elements" within a pre-mixed stereo file!

    I am surprised it is 32 bit only. Runs yes in 64 but, in 32 Bit
    I heard it was going to come out as $99 not $199.
    I will look at it will the price goes down to where it should be.

    Yup... some hype there for sure... This is Roland, eh?

    But the underlying reality....

    I'm curious to see how the hype translates to the implied abilities... To be able to isolate instruments within a mix and affect them in the many ways we're used to working on our audio...?

    I've heard claims before, but the closest thing I've (personally) seen that deals with this (and well) is the polyphonic editing of the new melodyne....

    So I look forward to wonderful surprises!

    Melodyne is polyphonic capable now...and has been for awhile.

    Yup...

    I guess I wasn't clear about that item... I truly wish I could afford to buy it....

    But this is a level deeper than that... To be able to differentiate between instruments as well...

    Two instruments playing the same note at the same time separated and under edit-control!

    Computer analysis is getting more capable with every passing byte! ;-)
