X3 is running great for me. Then again so did X1 and X2. Love all the new toys I've played around with so far. The new zoom feature in Quad Curve EQ is absolutely stellar! What a piece of artwork it is...

Since you download AD from XLN I'd say no to that one. I already own the full Nomad Suite so I did not install them from CW, so that one is hard to say.

X3a is for the full installer download.
Boxed users aren't getting their copy till next week. So a patch X3a is slated a few days from now. We're doing final checking on the installer, etc.
Dev has already been working on X3b since last week. That won't include the video features Noel has talked about being in a future update. That's slated for c.

Hello,
I installed X3a today (on Windows 7 64bit). The most of my VST3 plugins does not work. For example all Synths of Arturias V-Collection3 are not listet in the plugin manager - so I have to use them as VST2 versions. The U-he Synths DIVA, ACE and Podolslki runs in VST3 but they change the tune by -2 when I push the play button in Sonar or change any patch in the synths. Only Zebra2 works correct as a VST3 instrument.

I think it is not a problem of scanning. The Arturia VST3 Versions are in the same folder than the u-he synths. When I start X3, the first scan (the small turquoise window in the lower right corner) see the Arturia plugins but after this "first contact", they are not longer listet in the plugin manager. They are gone...

I was going to buy a new drum plugin coz I've only got abbey road 70's (and of course Session drummer), so this info makes it easy to go for an uppgrade to X3. I think X3 looks very good (both visual and features). Only problem now is that my homestudio is a mess. Going to move to another part of my house. So while I'm rebuilding my studio, maybe you guys (Cakewalk) can make this release the best ever. I'm exited

The Strum Acoustic actually runs ok in Project 5. Lounge Lizard doesn't. Which is okay, I had no reason to expect that it would. However I find it a little annoying that while most of the other locked plugins give you an message box telling you that it is locked, this one does not. It is just silent.
