Running in to Old Freinds

One of the issues with GAS is you often sideline some excellent stuff.

I am running through my third party Kontakt Libraries making presets to use in Komplete Kontrol. While it does not take that long to assign the encoders and categorise the preset It takes ages because you spend a lot of time playing with it once you are done. I am enjoying things I had not loaded up for a while, and having the encoders mapped out makes a lot of things more playable.

I spent a few idle hours with the Hollow Sun String Machiens and Vox Continental mixing the t footages and twiddleing effects.

Another nice reunion was the Bolder Sounds "American Folk Instruments".

Initally I was not expecting to get much use from the browser but its working out well with its filters. I think it may well result if less things being over looked.

Those sounds bundled in Kontakt are underrated for the hobbyist.  Those VSL sounds are not old. They still sound like an orchestra.  The choir is impressive and the synths.

I just got round to Hollow Sun's Techtron. I can't believe this was only £6. There are a large number of varied presets and its amazingly tweakable. (I seemed to be asigning host automation parameters for ever!)

If you don't have it I recommend checking it out.
